Three Nights Etosha ExplorerDay One (L.D.) You will be collected fro your accommodation in Windhoek on themorning of departure between 08h00 and 08h30 and should be ready on the road by 09h00. An early start straight travelling via Okahandja to Otjiwarongo the Otjozondjupa (western gate), stop for fresh supplies and fuel. Continue on to Okaukuejo in Etosha National Park, we aim to arrive in time for lunch. Giving you time to relaxbefore heading out in the park for cool late afternoon game drive. After your evening meal, there are still more chances of seeing Etosha game at the famous waterhole. It has been described as one of the the best view opportunities in the Southern Africa, situated on the doorstep of the campsite. Black rhinos, elephants, lions, antlopes are often seen. Best waterholes! Day Two (B.L.D.) Okaukuejo-Halali We are out on an early morning game drive; we will visit some of the waterholes in the area hoping to catch some of Etosha's biggest game out for an early morning drink. The game drive around the Okakuejo area is one of the best in the park. We will cover some of the different waterholes from wooded ares to open savannas and in rainy season's wet land. Back to the camp in the late afternoon and after lunch pack for Halali. Game drive until Halali, putting up tents. Like on any day one we take a shorter game drive in the late afternoon driving out to one of the waterholes popular with with game, waiting for the animals to come to the waterhole. Dinner will be served on an open camp fire. Day Three(B.L.D.) A full game drive , we again leave early to enjoy the cool morning air. We game drive our way through to Namutoni Camp. Putting up tents and making lunch, the pool area here is well shaded by palm trees and a stone throw away from the waterhole. An early afternoon game drive before gates close. Day Four (B.L.) On our way back to Windhoek, more game viewing on our way out, we visit theMobile Bushmen Village for about 2 hours. Making short stops for fresh supplies and fuel, we aim to arrive in Windhoek late afternoon. |
